wow! what a day that was. i had already been bugging mom for months (heh heh) about making my entrance to the world. for some reason she, daddy and the doctors kept telling me i had to wait! in november though, it sounded like we had quite a scare. mom thought she was about to have me 5 weeks early. she drove us to the hospital, against my "Nana #3's" (Diane) advice, and Auntie Becky and daddy met us there. after three terrible nights in the hospital (i didn't like it very much), doctors found a blood clot between her kidney and liver and on its way to her heart. well, our fourth night in the hospital, those goofballs in what mom kept calling the "ICU" still wouldn't let us eat or drink anything and i was hungry and thirsty! so, i decided it was time...mom said no though, again! i guess i should have gotten used to that word--she tells me that every time i grab her glasses or pull her hair. well, yet again i didn't get my way. the doctors finally listened to mom and me and let her have a ton of water and stopped me from having my birthday again. on december 7th, papa finally took mom and me took me to the hospital and i heard the doctors saying they would help her have me. she didn't need much help! remember? i kept telling her i was ready! only 7 hours later i made my entrance!! i only made mama hurt for about 3 hours and i appeared in what mom brags was only 9 pushes, whatever that means.
so, december 8th is my official birth day. i could tell daddy was pretty excited to see me. he took good care of mom too, though. she wasn't feeling too good for a while. we were actually in the hospital for 5 days total and daddy wasn't happy about that. he just wanted us all to go home. i don't blame him. that place was boring compared to our house! wait 'til i tell you all about that and everywhere i've been!
