on the road again! they're always taking me somewhere! they keep promising that we're staying home this coming weekend. hee hee...for some reason, i don't believe them! we'll see. 
here are pictures from our trip to the west side of Michigan. that was another hot day. 95 degrees. we went to the Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids. that was neat. they had this children's garden with cool sculptures and this wading pool shaped like the Great Lakes. oh! and they had water sprouting up from the ground! mom called it a fountain i think. i wish i had my bathing suit on for that.

we got done at the gardens sooner than we thought, so mama talked daddy into driving to the beach. well, we weren't prepared for that, so we stopped at the store and got beach towels and stuff. they didn't like the first beach we went to, Grand Haven. they called it something like "party central." so, we drove a little further and went to this super sandy beach they called "the dunes." i guess these aren't the real big ones, but i loved all that sand anyway. this lake had more waves and i didn't like it that much, so we didn't stay long. it was a good, busy, but hot and long day!
