crummy colds

man, what a crummy weekend. i got a cold this week and gave it to mom and daddy. i'm starting to feel better, but we had to cancel our plans to see our friends this weekend. friday night i went to bed early and gave mama an early night. she made me some food (yeah, she started making my own food, but i'm still not liking it too much--i like her plums and apples though). yesterday mama went to work while i stayed home with papa. he wasn't feeling good at all, so we napped a lot. today started kind of scary. this cold has given me a bit of a sore throat and i cough a lot. during breakfast i started coughing and then started gagging and choked on my cereal! it was so scary! daddy kinda screamed and mama came running into the room. mama said i "lost" all my breakfast. she was really sweet. i was in my chair all covered in milk and cereal. it was on me, on the floor...everywhere, really. she held my head and then my hands and told me it'd be okay. daddy got a towel and wiped me up, then wiped the floor, then ran upstairs and got a bath going for me right away. i was feeling okay even though i was a little scared still and was excited i'd get a bath! so, mom and papa both gave me a bath. it was a special one! i guess me choking scared them too. daddy blew bubbles for me while i was in the tub and mama washed my hair and got me all cleaned up before we went back downstairs and i got to lay right with mom on the couch and took my morning nap with her. as i was falling asleep i heard her tell papa she just didn't want to let go of me. i'm feeling better, but still need some more sleep to get rid of this cold. mama and i have lunch plans with our friend i've yet to meet...her name is april mom told me. i'm excited! mama told me we get to go for a walk to meet april at the restaurant tomorrow. i always like that. i wonder what i'll get to wear. i *always* have to look good for my mom's girlfriends! hee hee... see you tomorrow april!
