this weekend was kinda cool. mama and Auntie Becky took me to what they called the lavender festival. it was kind of boring though. when we got there, they had to lather me up with sunblock, then figure out the carrier since mom didn't want to put me in the stroller. then we had to walk through all this hay where they had us park. that wasn't easy. ...okay, okay, so i was along for the ride and mom
was carrying me. i thought she just might fall though!

we walked around the farm at first and looked at all the neat things people were selling. there was a man there that had these two cute animals. they look kind of like camels, but also like llamas (like the one i saw at the farm a few weeks ago), but mama and Auntie Becky were laughing because they were shaved

like poodle dogs are! they were still cute! they were called alpacas. then i got to see how honey is made and watch these bees buzz around their house that mom called a "hive." you could hear them buzzing even through the glass. mom wanted to watch a guy who cooks, i think he's called a "chef," talk to people about how to cook with lavender. i could have cared less though! i needed a diaper and i was thirsty so Auntie Becky took care of me for a bit. plus, i was sick of that carrier thing. it squishes me. we took a few pictures (surprise, surprise) and had some snacks and drinks before we called it a day...a good day in the country.
