road trip!

mama and papa took me on my first road trip to chicago to see friends and boy was that a trip! we all look pretty good in this photo, but we all got the flu that night! it was horrible. :-( it was the first time i was sick and it was only a week before mama went back to work, so she wasn't too happy. we weren't able to see all our friends in chicago (mom and daddy tell me we have a lot of friends there) because we got sick. i was good though. i slept all the way there and all the way home! that was pretty good for me because i was still eating about every four hours. i stayed at a hotel for the first time and that was pretty neat. i keep bugging mama and papa about going back because i want to see downtown (no, we couldn't even do that), so hopefully we'll go soon.

while we were there, we did see our friends the Feigns. i got to meet my friends Jordan and Julian and that was great. look here! this is Jordan and me hanging out. we listened to music and ate and got our diapers changed and our moms switched off holding us. that was the fun part of our trip!
