cruisin'

well, my first dream cruise has come and gone. it was actually last weekend. it's been such a busy week, i haven't had the chance to write anything. last weekend, mama and daddy and i picked up grandma from aunt clara's house so we could go visit grandma flossie and granddad luke. mom sat in the back seat with me and that was great! i'm always alone back there, so i liked that. when we got to grandma flossie and granddad luke's house granddad gave me two "back to school" outfits! they had winnie-the-pooh on them too!! they're a little big, but i think i'll grow into them soon. we had lunch and my grandma played with me for a little while on the floor with my toys. i also got to play a lot with my cousin tamra. she's so neat. she sang and talked with me and played with my toys too. after our visit we drove tamra home (she had to go to work -- she works at an ice cream shop...mom says i can go visit her in just a few months when i can have ice cream!).

we then drove to woodward for the dream cruise. mam and papa don't have an old car, but we went to show grandma what it's like because she's never been to it. oh, yeah...i haven't either! it was my first time too. i didn't like it too much though. there were lots of stinky smells (mom says it was something called exhaust from the cars) and it was really loud. i didn't care about the noise, but the smell wasn't nice. then i had to eat dinner in the car with a wet diaper! ew! i was not happy about that, but mom kept saying we'd be home soon. it took us quite a while to get though and we didn't even drive the whole way on woodward. we dropped grandma off at aunt clara's and said good bye. it was nice to finally meet her. hopefully i'll meet granddaddy soon (he had to work, so he didn't come up from georgia this visit).
