it looks like i have real tummy troubles! last week i reported on my heart murmur and i think i may have talked about my eating issues. mama was taking me to a new doctor to be checked out on the weekend, but i didn't make it until then to have a day off from school. i gagged on my food again a few times and it happened at daycare, which meant i had to come home. i was sad. i wasn't feeling too good and when daddy picked me up and dropped me off at mama's work (he had to go back to work) he told her i definitely had the flu. but then later that day, mom told me she thought i had a cold. it was weird. i went from my gagging issue while i was eating to a sniffly nose. oh, i was miserable! since it seemed i only had a cold, daddy took me to school on friday (oh, all this happened wednesday and thursday). i felt better friday and had a better day. mama went out with aunt becky at night, so it was just me and dad. that was great! hee hee...papa is always fun!
well, saturday i met my new doctor. dr. paul. he's so nice! he asked mama lots of questions about my eating problems and my heart murmur. turns out my heart murmur is "louder" than my other doctors were saying and it's a good thing we're getting me tested in a couple weeks. he did say it was okay we wait a couple more weeks, but no longer. poor mom will have to take more time off work for that. she keeps saying "i'll do anything for you" though, so i think it's okay. dr. paul also told us that i most likely DO have an eating problem! everyone keeps telling mom i'm too little to eat food that's not all mucked up, but dr. paul said i should be starting to eat things a little chunkier. plus, i even gag on baby food now. i don't like it! dr. paul told me not to worry. he wants to make sure my heart is okay first, then we'll focus on my tummy troubles, which may be being caused by what he called a "nodule in my intestinal tract" -- yikes...whatever that is! i'll probably grow out of it when i'm about 2 years old, but he said he can try to fix it before that! phew! i hope so...i'm liking mama's food she's making me and can chew really good. i just gag too easy. dr. paul is great though. i made sure he knew i liked him by giving him a big smile and then a smiled at mama too to thank her for my new doctor. she was right! daddy was too. dr. paul told his assistant how he's taken care of mama since she was a little girl and now he gets to take care of me!
