i am proud to say that i can successfully take off socks, shoes and pajamas now. mama just wasn't getting the hint that i want to help out, so one day at breakfast i got my pajamas off my arms and shoulders and showed her how i could do it! she got the hint after that. at dinner i now get to take off my socks and shoes from the day and in the morning mama or papa helps me unzip my sleeper and they let me take it off all on my own! some mornings are a little tougher than others -- at times i'll end up laying back down trying to get it off, but i do it.

mama keeps asking when i'll be able to get dressed on my own...hey, mom, don't you think it's good enough i got your silly "left arm," "right arm," "left foot," "right foot" down pat?! man...the woman started that with me when i was 5 days old. literally...the day she and papa brought me home and she was getting me dressed she said that. i think she has me in an official training program!
