with spring here, that means picture time again. this year we went to our new little photo place we like instead of the place that has baby bunnies. i was a little bummed, but i'm over it. mom has promised me we're going to go to a farm and see some other baby animals. that will be neat! i'm not such a baby anymore you know...i have two molars and 7 front teeth. i'm also running around driving mama and papa crazy--hee hee...i'm doing a real good job at it too. i'm also talking a lot. okay, okay...so i might show off from time to time, but it seems to amuse the grown up folks.
"choo choo"--my favorite thing at the moment! i can hear the train from my house, so i let everyone know when it's coming by announcing it with a loud "choo choo!" as usual, mom says how cute i am. hmm...what else am i saying these days...
oh, i know, "ow" as it, boy does that hurt! i had quite the week speaking of boo-boos. i wasn't liking school too much this week. i'm getting bored in my room. mama keeps arguing with the teachers that she wants me in the bigger kids room, but i guess there isn't room for me yet. i'm bummed about that since my good friend, michela, is already in there as of this week. maybe that's why i had a crummy week. my week at school ended with another yucky cold (i had gone 3 weeks without one though!) and then i pulled down a big toy on my head from the top toy shelf (my teachers didn't know which toy hit me, which made mama really, really mad!). i had a big bump and bruise in between my eyebrows, which made mom sad and hurt me a lot. then, i was tired after lunch and tripped and bit my lip--that hurt bad too! in the morning that day, on thursday, i had an upset tummy, which made me really sad and not hungry for lunch. so, my teachers weren't very happy and even called mom. she did come to get me after i woke up from my nap, which was almost two hours earlier than usual, so i was really happy then. miss dorthea, one of my favorite teachers, helped mom pack my bag up and get me ready to go home. she felt so bad i wasn't feeling good. then, to top off my week, mom took me to the hospital for what they kept calling "bloodwork." work wasn't the word for it, i tell ya! while mom and another lady held me down, a third woman stuck this big needle in my arm and all this red stuff (called blood i guess) came out into these tubes! ew! i was brave though. mama kept telling me how proud she was of me...heh heh...i was proud of myself! i got my pacifier as soon as it was over and i was happy. i even laughed at the little cotton ball when mom took off my bandaid before bed! hee hee! yup, i told you...i'm getting bigger by the minute!
oh, i almost forgot! i got to visit mom's work yesterday! that was before the hospital visit, so it was a good thing. i have to admit i was a ltitle shy, but i got to see my aunt becky, aunt charity and aunt ann marie, so that was fun! i also got to see miss kathleen, miss nancy, miss laura, miss shrena and lots of other work friends who like me a lot! i gave mr. weaver a high five and played with mr. nayer's toy darth vader he has in his office. i didn't get to see uncle dennis though because he was at a meeting. i did see mr. lerner again though...he's a funny guy! hee hee...i'm laughing still because he was driving mama crazy trying to get me to say "chain saw." i was standing on mama's desk and she has this wood shelf that mr. lerner was drawing a line on with his finger and said i could cut it with a chain saw...so i copied him with my finger. i don't that's something i'm allowed to play with, but i giggled and giggled since mama thought it was silly. everyone at work kept telling him to stop and telling him i was just a baby, but i like him! oh, and aunt becky took me for a ride on her chair...that was fun! i even got dizzy after spinning around and around in it and fell down when i tried to stand back up.
