OW!

oops..i really hurt mama this time. you know, i still like to do that head-butting thing at times. it's harmless. i think it's funny and laugh most of the time, besides the times I now say "OW!"

oh, back to mom. yeah, i wacked her good right in the nose the night before easter. i hit her so hard daddy even had to give her ice. she hollared for him and said she thought i had broken her nose! i felt pretty bad, so i put my head on the bag of ice with mama. that made her laugh.

turns out i didn't break her nose, but it was a little swollen and she had two slightly black eyes for a couple days. she wasn't too happy with me. oops. i've tried to be better and more gentle when i play, but i'm a boy! aren't i supposed to be a little rough and tough? i like to throw things and bang on things. i know mom and dad tell me i can only throw balls (and lately i'm not even allowed to do that in the house-ugh!) and bang on my drum or piano. i tell ya, the older i get the less fun it is. today i even got scolded for dumping by basket of toys out. they clean it up and i just dump it back out...come on, how can i play if everything is put away, right? being a kid is hard work!
