i was sooo excited to see my friend nolan that i used to go to school with. it was quite the night! i got to ride in nolan's mommy's car, then we ran in the pouring rain to the ballpark. the tigers didn't want to get their fur wet so they told everyone they were going to wait until the rain stopped to start playing baseball. so, we went to a restaurant at the park and it was really busy, but these really nice guys asked if we wanted to sit with them. one of them looked like santa claus--he even said so! he was really nice. mommy and him talked about his work--he's a professor at a college, just like she wants to be. after dinner, we said bye to the really nice men and walked to our seats. i was so excited to be at the ball game that i just wanted to go walk closer to the field, but it just kept raining and raining. nolan and i got to hang out though while mom hung out with nolan's mom. it was a lot of fun, but then when it was just past bedtime, those tigers decided it was dry enough to come out and play. we only stayed long enough to see one homerun and the water fountains explode--WATER! (yes, i'm still obsessed since vacation...what's wrong with liking water...oh, yeah...mom keeps telling me i can't play in the puddles on the playground at school, but that's it!)Sunday, October 5, 2008
