zoo nights

the zoo in the summer is open late for concerts, but we don't go for the concerts...we go because the animals are crazy at night! they're all talking to each other and playing. we ate dinner there one night and this bird kept coming close up to me and it freaked me out! i had remembered that mama told me what his name was before, so i told her that i didn't like that 'big-cock'!! don't worry...she told me his name was really 'peacock'!! ahhhh...i knew it was something like that. we went with my friend nolan and his mama, melanie, that night and had a GREAT time!! nolan brought some of his favorite flash cards that night...different colored shapes...and he taught me new shapes, like pentagon and octagon!! he helped me learn some hard colors, too, like brown and lavender (it took me a little while to know all my colors).
