apple picking this year wasn't all that great. we got apples, but not a lot and not the kind that mama wanted. we still had a great time. it was chilly, but a really sunny day. the hay ride was a lot of fun and we got to see horses along the way. we bought some cider and donuts and fresh honey from the little store at the orchard too. mama was able to make only one pie out of the apples we got. OH, AND, i saw the biggest, furriest caterpillar ever!!!! he was just like the very hungry caterpillar....and the END of the book!!
