accidents happen

boy, the past two days have been something else. well, actually three days if you include mama falling on our stairs! oops, don't tell her i told! i don't think i was supposed to say anything (she was okay, don't worry). but, for me, school has been...hmmm...challenging. first, yesterday i was climbing around one of the exersaucer toys and slipped (just like mama on the stairs) and hit my head. i was okay though. i let my teachers know i was hurt a bit and they put ice on my forehead (i love anything cold, so that was cool) and gave me lots of hugs and kisses.

then, today, i was playing with all my friends and one of them scratched my face! man! on my 8 month bday too. now i have two red scratches. ugh. people. if they'd clip their nails (mama does a good job taking care of that for me), we wouldn't have these problems. miss jennifer, one of my favorite teachers, was sweet to me. she took me into the bathroom and washed off my face and put special medicine on it, then let me play in the mirror! getting hurt, in the end, wasn't so bad! i was surprised at how good mom took it when she saw me. she didn't get mad or anything (i thought she'd be upset). i guess it's all about getting older. oh well, i just hope these scratches go away quick, not that i don't look cute still -- oops, did i say that out loud? hee hee...
