halloween~happy

i got to help mom carve one of those huge oranges she kept calling pumpkins! it was the one we picked out at the farm that really cold and rainy day too. the coolest thing was she made a face on it that was just like my costume -- a cat! well, i was a lion, but mom says they are big kitties, just like tip and duchess at home, just really big. the insides of that pumpkin were really slimy and gooey, but i kinda liked it. that's one of my favorite things lately--to feel different stuff. i've been liking putting my hands in every single thing mom and daddy try to feed me. i'll talk about that later. first, halloween!

my cousin javier came over to go trick or treating with me. he was dressed up as a cool, green sea monster! he had seaweed all over him and everything. he didn't talk much, but he's not that much older than me. i didn't talk much either that night, so much went on that day i was really tired.

so, we headed out down the street to all the neighbors houses and mom yelled out "trick or treat!" then all these people put treats and snacks in my bag! how cool is that?! mom wouldn't let me eat anything though. i was still having problems eating, plus she keeps saying "no sugar until your 10!" i don't know what that means, but i'm sure it's not good news for me.

now i just have to figure out what i'll be for halloween next year! (maybe i can sneak a piece of candy next year too...i'll almost be 2 then! i bet mom will give in, don't you?)
