ta da! all done mom! okay, so i gave mom such a hard time she gave up trying to get the peas IN my mouth. it was pretty cool...she let me do whatever i wanted wit them, that was great. as you can see, i DID do WHATEVER i wanted.
i've been

getting better about eating in the last week or two. i can have certain solid food in my mouth without throwing up! i've been able to eat freeze dried fruit that's cut up. that's kind of weird tasting, but mama bought me mango and banana, two of my favorites. i will also eat a banana by chewing off tiny bits with my four front teeth -- i'm about to get two more on the top too! tonight, daddy gave me a slice of apple that i chewed on for a bit and earlier today, miss natalie at school cut up little pieces of peaches for me. i forgot that peaches can be kinda tart. i didn't like them much, but boy was everyone happy when i didn't throw up! i'm happy too. i have to admit though, i really don't mind mom and papa spoon feeding me and i do prefer most fruits to veggies and meats (okay, and even cereal) these days.
i think i get to try real milk this week, but mama says we have to see what doctor paul says. i bet he says go for it! i also bet he says since i'm doing better with my eating we get to put off those tests he talked about 3 months ago. so we'll see! my one year doc appointment is on friday, then my big party! mom hasn't talked much about it. she's so busy with school right now and she's still sick--she got sicker than me over thanksgiving and stayed home. she kept saying how sorry she was making me go to school with a yucky cold, but she was really that sick. i felt bad...she even stayed in bed one whole day! but, then we both got to go to the doctor at the same time. that was pretty cool. we had two nurses in the room taking all our numbers and stuff. i feel better though...and i'm ready to party!!!
