moo at the zoo

see what happens in just a few months...here's me in april (16 months old)

and here i was in october at 10 months old.

yup, it's that time of year again...i already got to go to the zoo last month on a really nice, warm day. mama took me and my cousins danny and maddy. they're fun! as mama says...they have lots of energy. we got to see lots of animals. i made sure to let everyone know what each animal said -- MOO! hey, leave me alone...i'm still learning here. dr. paul says i'm doing great! better than most 17 month olds in fact. actually, at my 15 month old doctor visit, he told mama he didn't even want to see me at 18 months! how cool is that! he really liked that opened my mouth as soon as he walked in and said "AH" so he could take a look.

oh, back to the zoo. i got to see big kitty cats and these cool birds that had huge feathers. i really like the penguins and one of my favorite things right now are butterflies (a/k/a "da-dyes" in my language). mama's trying to get me to start saying some other animal names now and we practice a lot.
