like i said, it was a little cold (REALLY cold) up north that weekend. the sun peaked through the clouds just enough though to make a rainbow that ended in the lake! yes! we saw the end of a rainbow! it was so pretty. since the sun came out, i insisted on taking my coat off. well, that only got me a lecture from mom AND i got really cold!! coat went back on real quick once we walked to the edge of the sand dunes. they were awesome! i mean, incredible!!! it was so cold though that we didn't stay long and i wasn't happy about that. i even started crying and begging mom and daddy to stay. mom ended up picking me up and taking me off the dune and i was so sad. she promised we'd go back another time though. we went out to dinner at a restaurant looking over the water and i could watch all the boats. it was great. i had such a good day that i fell right asleep with all my "guys" -- max the moose, baby bunny and baby bear.
